Lemwarm Alternatives: 7 Warm-Up Tools Priced by Mailbox

Lemwarm alternatives compared on what you pay at 10, 50 and 100 mailboxes, with plans and limits taken from each tool's own pricing page.

Most people searching for a lemwarm alternative are doing math on mailboxes. You added inboxes to spread out cold email volume, and now the warm-up bill grows every time you add another one. That pricing model is the wrong one for this job. The teams running the most mailboxes are the ones who most need every mailbox warmed, and per-mailbox pricing pushes them to skip the cheap inboxes, which are the ones that end up in spam. This comparison sorts the alternatives by what you pay at 10, 50 and 100 mailboxes, using each tool's own pricing page.

Who this comparison is for

You run cold or high-volume email from several Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailboxes. You are using lemwarm today, or you used it inside lemlist, and you want to know whether a different tool would warm the same mailboxes for less, or warm more of them for the same money.

If you send fewer than a handful of emails a day from one inbox, most of these tools will work and the price differences are small. The gaps open up once you have 10 or more mailboxes.

Why senders leave lemwarm

lemwarm is lemlist's warm-up product. lemlist's pricing page answers the question "Is lemwarm and deliverability protection included?" with a yes: lemwarm and the built-in deliverability protections are included in all plans. In practice that means lemwarm comes with a lemlist subscription, and lemlist is a full outbound platform with a lead database, sequences, LinkedIn automation, calling and AI agents.

That leaves two common reasons to look elsewhere:

  1. 1.You send from another tool. If your campaigns run in Instantly, Smartlead or anything else, paying for lemlist to keep its warm-up running means paying for a second sending platform you do not use.
  2. 2.Your mailbox count keeps growing. Every new domain and inbox needs warming before it sends at volume. How a tool counts mailboxes decides whether that growth costs you nothing extra or a fixed amount per inbox.

How we compared the tools

Each tool was judged on four things, all read from its own site:

  • Price at your mailbox count. Plan names, monthly or yearly billing, and what each plan caps.
  • How mailboxes are counted. Per mailbox, per plan bundle, or unlimited.
  • Which providers it connects. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 at minimum, since that is where most cold email mailboxes live.
  • Whether it also sends. A warm-up tool that is also a sending platform asks you to move your outreach there, or to pay for features you will not use.

The lemwarm alternatives side by side

Prices are as shown on each tool's pricing page in October 2026. The billing period matters: several pages show yearly-billed prices by default, and those are lower than paying month to month.

Three patterns show up.

Warm-up-only tools mostly price per mailbox. MailReach and Warmup Inbox charge per inbox, and Warmbox sells plans by inbox count. Their bills scale with the exact number you are trying to grow. MailReach's calculator, set to 80 mailboxes, showed an estimated total of $1,323 per month.

Sending platforms price by volume and include warm-up. lemlist, Instantly and Smartlead charge for contacts and sends. Warm-up comes along. That is a good deal if you already send from that platform and a poor one if you would be paying for a second sequencer just to keep warm-up on.

Smartlead does not fit the per-mailbox grid. Its pricing page sets tiers by sends and contacts, so the number of mailboxes you warm is not what moves its price.

Which mailboxes each tool connects

Provider coverage matters less than price for most teams, because nearly every cold email mailbox is on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. It matters a lot if you also run SMTP senders.

  • lemlist lists Google, Microsoft and SMTP under deliverability on its pricing page.
  • MailReach lists multiple ESP warm-up (Google, Outlook and others) and says it is compatible with any provider that supports SMTP.
  • Warmup Inbox lists integrations for Gmail and Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365, Amazon SES, Zoho Mail and SendGrid.
  • Warmbox lists the longest set: Gmail and G Suite over OAuth, Outlook and Microsoft 365, Yahoo, iCloud, AOL, Yandex, Zoho, Sendgrid, Sendinblue, Mailgun, Amazon SES, and any other inbox over SMTP.
  • Smartlead sells new Google, Outlook and SMTP mailboxes through its SmartSenders add-on, from $3.99 to $9 per mailbox per month depending on provider and whether the mailbox comes pre-warmed.
  • SuperWarm connects Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 over OAuth, plus any SMTP/IMAP mailbox.

The tools, one by one

lemlist (lemwarm)

lemwarm lives inside lemlist. The Email plan starts at $55 a month billed yearly and covers unlimited users and email senders, 50,000 emails a month, the 650M+ lead database, lemAgent, and "email warm-up & Deliverability hub." Multichannel starts at $87 a month billed yearly and adds unlimited emails and messages, LinkedIn, SMS and calling, with 5 senders per user. Enterprise is priced by sales. lemlist offers a 14-day free trial of the Multichannel features, except in-app calls.

lemlist's inbox delivery page describes inbox rotation, per-inbox volume caps, sending within the prospect's time zone, and a pre-send check of copy and technical setup. If lemlist is already where you send, staying is the simplest choice, because warm-up costs you nothing on top.

Best for: teams whose outreach already runs in lemlist.

Instantly

Instantly's Outreach Growth plan is $47 a month billed monthly or $37.60 billed yearly, and includes unlimited email accounts, unlimited email warm-up, 1,000 uploaded contacts and 5,000 emails a month. Hypergrowth ($97 monthly, $77.60 yearly) raises that to 25,000 contacts and 125,000 emails. Light Speed ($358 monthly, $286.30 yearly) reaches 500,000 emails a month and adds Instantly's SISR system of dedicated servers and IP rotation.

Instantly's email warm-up page says its pool holds over 1,000,000 real email accounts, that its slow ramp sends 2 warm-up emails on day one, 4 on day two, 6 on day three and so on, and that you can set the open rate, response rate and spam protection for warm-up emails. Its flat account count is a strong offer if you would send from Instantly anyway. Our guide to Instantly alternatives covers it in more depth.

Best for: teams that want warm-up and sending in one platform with no mailbox count.

MailReach

MailReach is a dedicated deliverability tool. Its All-In-One plan lists $19.50 per mailbox per month and always includes at least 20 spam test credits. Each plan includes up to 100 warm-up emails a day, a reputation tracking dashboard, and checks for blacklists, SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Past 100 mailboxes, MailReach offers custom pricing. Its pricing page describes its warm-up network as Google Workspace and Office 365 inboxes, "the two providers that matter most."

MailReach's spam testing is what sets it apart here. If inbox placement testing across providers matters as much to you as warm-up, the per-mailbox price buys both. We compare its per-mailbox model with flat pricing in MailReach vs SuperWarm.

Best for: senders who want warm-up and spam testing from one specialist, at a modest mailbox count.

Warmup Inbox

Warmup Inbox prices per inbox. Basic is $15 per inbox per month ($180 billed yearly) with 75 warm-up messages a day. Pro is $49 ($588 yearly) with 250 a day, plus custom templates, chosen topics, language warm-up and ESP-specific warm-up. Max is $79 ($948 yearly) with 1,000 a day. The page says the per-inbox price comes down from the second inbox, and past 50 inboxes the price is quoted on a call.

There is also a free Freemium plan with unlimited inboxes and 15 warm-up emails a week, and a 7-day free trial of paid plans with no card required. Warmup Inbox also includes outreach sequences, so it is part warm-up tool and part sender.

Best for: small senders who want language or provider-specific warm-up on a few inboxes.

Warmbox

Warmbox sells plans by inbox count. On monthly billing, Solo is $15 for 1 inbox at 50 emails a day, Start-up is $69 for 3 inboxes at 250 a day with 3 team members, and Growth is $139 for 6 inboxes at 500 a day with 6 team members. A Team plan covers larger needs on a custom quote. Every plan includes warm-up schedules (growth, flat or random), spam score monitoring, and a DNS and blacklist checker.

Warmbox's FAQ says warm-up usually takes 15 to 30 days of uninterrupted warming before the first results show. Its provider list is the broadest in this comparison. See SuperWarm vs Warmbox for a direct comparison.

Best for: senders who need warm-up on providers beyond Google and Microsoft, such as Yahoo, iCloud or Zoho.

Smartlead

Smartlead is a cold email platform. Base is $39 a month billed monthly ($32 yearly) with 2,000 contacts and 6,000 sends. Pro is $94 ($78 yearly) with 30,000 contacts and 90,000 sends. Smart is $174 ($144 yearly) with unlimited contacts and 150,000 sends. Prime is $379 ($315 yearly) with 500,000 sends and 3 dedicated servers. Each tier comes with a warm-up pool, from a Foundation tier on Base to Premium on Smart and Prime. The pricing page offers 50% off the first month.

Best for: teams that are choosing a new sending platform and want warm-up included.

SuperWarm

SuperWarm only warms mailboxes. It does not send campaigns, run sequences or hold a lead list. You connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailboxes over OAuth, or any SMTP/IMAP mailbox, and SuperWarm exchanges natural-looking emails with its warming network every day. It ramps volume gradually and generates opens, replies and mark-as-important signals. A dashboard shows each mailbox's reputation and stage, so you can see which inboxes are still building and which are ready. You keep sending from whatever tool you already use. Setup differs slightly by provider: see Google Workspace warming and Microsoft 365 warming.

Billing is simple. The free plan covers up to 10 mailboxes. Pro is $49 a month, billed monthly, for unlimited mailboxes. There is no trial, because the free plan is the way to test on real inboxes before paying. You can cancel anytime.

Best for: teams with many mailboxes who already have a sender they like and want every inbox warmed for one flat price.

Which alternative fits which sender

  • You send from lemlist and are happy there: keep lemwarm. It is included in your plan.
  • You want one platform for sending and warm-up: Instantly or Smartlead, depending on whether you prefer a flat account count or tiers by send volume.
  • You want spam testing alongside warm-up: MailReach.
  • You warm one to six inboxes on mixed providers: Warmbox or Warmup Inbox.
  • You warm 10, 50 or 100+ mailboxes and send from your own tool: a flat-priced warm-up-only tool keeps the bill from growing with your inbox count.

Questions about switching from lemwarm

Can I keep lemwarm without paying for lemlist?
lemlist's pricing page presents lemwarm as included in all lemlist plans, and the cheapest of those is the Email plan from $55 a month billed yearly. If you send from another platform, switching to a separate warm-up tool usually costs less than keeping a lemlist subscription for warm-up alone.
Will switching warm-up tools reset my sender reputation?
Reputation belongs to your domain and mailbox, not to the warm-up tool. What changes is the network your mailbox exchanges mail with. Overlap the two tools for a short period if you can, and avoid jumping your sending volume on the day you switch.
How long does a new mailbox need to warm?
Warmbox's FAQ puts it at 15 to 30 days of uninterrupted warming before first results, depending on the address and the provider. Our guide on how long to warm a mailbox walks through what to watch before you start sending.
Does a higher daily warm-up volume warm a mailbox faster?
Not by itself. Daily volume caps vary widely, from 75 a day on Warmup Inbox's Basic plan to 1,000 on its Max plan, and MailReach says its volume scales "based on your domain's health." A steady, gradual ramp that keeps going matters more than a high number on day one. A sudden spike looks like the behavior warm-up is meant to avoid.
Does email warm-up still work?
Warm-up builds a sending history on a new mailbox so inbox providers see consistent, engaged traffic before your campaigns start. It does not make unwanted email wanted. Once you send for real, your recipients' opens, replies and spam complaints decide where you land. We cover the limits in what warm-up fixes and what it can't.
Do I need SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up first?
Yes. Warmy's comparison of Warmy and Lemwarm notes that authentication through SPF, DKIM and DMARC is now a baseline requirement for inbox providers, not an advanced option. Warm-up cannot fix a domain that fails authentication, so check your records before you connect a mailbox.
Is manual warm-up worth it at 20 to 30 emails a day?
For one or two inboxes, sending a few real emails a day to people who will reply works, but it takes daily attention for weeks. Across several mailboxes, an automated tool does the same ramp without anyone managing a schedule.
